Becca Your Daughter April 30, 2020

I am sorry my father never let me see you or get to know you.  I was young when I was taken away, but I will always remember our secret meeting.  I will also remember dinners at Grandma's ... I look so much like you it's almost scary ... I have a very deep love for my pets as well ... currently Oreo ... a PapiPom I rescues ... I am sad I never had the opportunity to call you Mommy ... I do see Lisa on Facebook ... that's nice ... I do remember meeting Charcy years ago ... Well I'm 57 now ... with Grandbabies of my own ... I'm crushed you never had the opportunity to meet my Son, Your Grandson, A.J. ... He just turned 40 years old ... Rest in Peace Mommy.

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

Jill Calhoun Former Office Assistant at Glen Oak Towers April 2, 2013

To The Family of Mary Jo Gibbs,
I worked at Glen Oak Towers for several years.  Mary Jo always had a smile and kind words for her fellow tennants and
the office staff.  I was so sorry to see her obituary in the paper.  She was thoughtful, kind although I know many a time she
didn't feel well, she made the best of it and encouraged others around her.  Her picture in the paper reminded me of her
beautiful smile and determination to keep going.  My deepest sympathy goes out to her family and loved ones.
Sincerely,
Jill Calhoun

Suzy Taylor Friend April 1, 2013

When my dear friend Mary Jo and I first met, she became my guardian angel and watched over me , taught me, guided me , and helped  me when I desperately needed her.  That was almost 45 years ago and I have always felt  her presence in my life and I knew she would do any thing for me and my family. Mary Jo was a sensitive, loving soul and always seemed to handle beautifully  a life that was not always easy.  She dearly loved her precious Charcy and adored Blair and Maya and of course, whatever puppy or kitty she had throughout her lifetime.  I so regret that my illness has kept me from beiing a good friend in her later years. I some how hope she knew she was always in heart and thoughts.  Good bye dear firiend - I know you will always be guardian angel. I will always love you and miss you.  Suzy
